Indigenous rappers Lucy Q and Mz Kiss are two musicians you should know

Two rappers have both caught the attention with their moves in the industry and NaijaFavorite is shining the spotlight on Lucy Q from Enugu and Mz Kiss from Lagos.
Many are of the opinion that the Nigerian music industry is way different from what is obtainable in other countries. If this is not the case, then what is responsible for the dearth of female rappers in the industry?
In the past, the likes of Weird MC, Sasha, Blaise, and Splash once held sway at the top of their field. These days, only Eva Alordiah seems to be the femcee holding it down, that is until now.
Two rappers have both caught the attention with their moves in the industry and NaijaFavorite is shining the spotlight on Lucy Q from Enugu and Mz Kiss who is already building a name for herself in Lagos.

Another musician who came to limelight via Illbliss, Mz Kiss is a rapper, singer, songwriter and performer based in Lagos and signed to Capital Hill music. Born Akindele Justina Omowunmi, she is the more ‘experienced’ of the duo.
She is steadily carving a niche for herself as the female rapper to go to if one wants a hard spitting, street slang saying femcee. Her song Owo Meta has received a lot of credit.
The 25-year-old recently released a shaku shaku themed song titled Merule. It also features popular street artist Slimcase. Kiss also stated in a recent interview that she started rapping because of late rapper Da Grin.
