Nigerian pastor spotted blessing the Super Eagles jersey

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, senior pastor of House On The Rock church was seen praying for the Super Eagles jersey hours before they took to the pitch against Croatia.
Following their loss to Croatia at the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup , a lot of Nigerians are visibly angry at the Super Eagles.
Many have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the dismal performance of the boys. Some have even started calling the players uncouth names.
While this is going on, a Nigerian pastor was seen praying for the Super Eagles jersey hours before they took to the pitch against Croatia.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin, senior pastor of House On The Rock via the church’s official Twitter account was seen holding up the jersey of Super Eagles asking God to give them victory upon victory.
“We declare over the Super Eagles of Nigeria and NFA, that God will lift up the light of His countenance upon them, the heaven will favour their cause, they will bring forth excellence and God will give them victory after victory in Jesus name,” he prayed.
Well, it is left to see if his prayer will turn things around for the Super Eagles. Coach of the team Gernot Rohr has already explained why the team performed so poorly in our match against Croatia.
